Alex Westfall (b. 1997, Manila Philippines) is an artist, director, and writer.

Her film and photography work has been supported by the Criterion Collection, Kino Lorber, Points North Institute, Gotham Film & Media Institute, Yaddo, the Penland School of Craft, and more. 

Her writing and artwork have appeared in The Creative Independent, Pitchfork, VICE, Little White Lies, NTS Radio, and Rookie, among other publications.

A Teaching Artist at Las Fotos Project, Alex has also held positions as archival researcher on various film projects, most recently on 2024's Nickel Boys. She holds a BA in Modern Culture & Media from Brown University.
